Originally from New Zealand, I hold a PhD in theoretical and computational physics. I am an experienced data scientist and team leader who is passionate about data analysis and getting the most out of your teams.

I moved to Europe in 2009 to continue researching physics, and this eventually led me to the Netherlands, and to an industry career as a data scientist. I first worked in the field of programmatic advertising and media before moving to a startup that offered AI solutions for semiconductor manufacturing. It was during this time that I also took on the tasks of project management, leading one of our largest projects, and became Director of Engineering.

Since the middle of 2023 I began to offer my services on a freelance basis. I particularly enjoy advising on difficult data science problems, and helping a client work through a structured plan to develop and make the best use of their data.
